School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)
SLES is an early intervention approach for participants in their last year of school. It supports their transition from school to employment.
Are you a school leaver and want to gain employment? Then My Plan Connect will provide meaningful, individualised capacity building activities so that you or your young one can achieve their employment goals.

use their professional networks to engage and connect with employers.
We will work with participants to assist them to gain the confidence to work with job agencies.
Each person’s SLES supports will be different. However, the following skills can help participants get ready for employment:
money handling skills
time management skills
communication skills
discovery activities
work experience
learning how to take instruction at work
travel skills.

Managing Director Jodie O’Bree, who is also offering employment supports has a solid understanding of the apprenticeship and traineeship space and also has many years experience in the employment field and cannot wait to assist participants to explore all the options of not only open, but meaningful employment.

We can assist you to find employment, but not just a job for the sake of a job, something that interests you, a position that makes you want to get up in the morning………….
We can also provide mental health support with getting to work and on the work site. My Plan Connect also collaborates with all relevant stake holders such as TAFE and other flexible Registered Training Originations so you can also upskill for any position you desire.
